Donna's Favorite Recipes



Mushroom Nachos
Makes 4 snack sized servings

1/4 pound fresh sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 8 ounce package of tortilla chips
4 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese
4 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
Taco Sauce
1/4 cup sliced hot peppers

Saute the mushrooms in the oil, in a skillet for 5 minutes over moderately high heat until mushrooms are cooked and liquid is evaporated
Spread tortillas chips on a glass pan, or a foiled coverd pizza pan
Sprinkle on the mushrooms, jack cheese and cheddar cheese
Bake at 400 for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts

Serve with taco sauce on the side
Garnish with hot peppers
