Hello and Happy Labor Day to everyone in the USA ! It's so nice to have a three day weekend from the "day gig" !
Hard to believe my website has been up only alittle over a month and I already have had over 1,100 unique visitors. I am just so happy that everyone has been stopping by and looking at my site. The emails and guestbooks additions I get from all over the world have been way, way cool!
As I write this, we are preparing to go into the recording studio for the 11th song. Wow! The CD is almost ready. If you check out my Real Audio pages, you will see three brand new sound bites added. So you can see, we have been working hard.
I stay busy other ways too ! There is a new page of free backgrounds for you to use on your websites (just link back). There are Pop/Rock postcards to send your friends - cool pictures of the Partridge Family, the Monkees, the Osmonds. And I plan to add even more postcard pictures this month. Do you have a cool "jpg" or "gif" of your favorite pop/rock artist? It has to be around 350 pixels wide or tall. Email it to me and I will add it to the digital postcards.
Also, just started to work on "My Fan Pages". Little websites within my website about my favorite artists. First one ready was Cyndi Lauper. But this month I will be busy creating more.
This month, I will also be busy creating the "Donna Diamond Award". An award I will give to websites that are fun, colorful, upbeat and positive. You can apply for it now. It should be ready to go anytime soon.
So, as you can tell, I am staying out of trouble! Don't worry - I got out into the "Real World" last month. I saw the 70's band "America" play at the Coach House in Orange County, CA. And I saw the movies "Sixth Sense" and "Bowfinger". Had to look for a new roommate - interviewed a bunch, and the new person moved in on the first. Plus, I have been taking my dog, Diamond, to the park. And I have started back at the gym - and I quit caffeine ! Boo-hoo, no more leaded coffee in the morning.
