Hello. So glad you stopped by. Summer seems to be over. And we are heading towards fall. Our weather here in California has been pretty weird. We had a spell of humid hot sticky weather, which we really never get. And that was followed by cold and rain. Its just been weird weather.

Well, the CD graphics are almost finished. And from what I have seen, they look fantastic! The CD cover will be in pinks, oranges and reds. It looks very upbeat - just like my music ! I am so glad I had the patience to wait, and get it done right.

I have discovered some really fun things on the Internet lately:

Fun Internet Thing Number One:
First, if you are looking for an easy way to help out your favorite charity, check out Zeal.com. For every website you rate, your favorite charity gets 2 cents. For every website you add to the Zeal database, your favorite charity gets 10 cents. I have been earning money for donations to the American Cinematheque. Click on this banner, and make sure you tell them that Zeal member Sunnysky58 sent you.

Fun Internet Thing Number Two:
If you are a major web-surfer, I suggest you download The KatieSoft Web Browser. This browser works with Internet Explorer. It divides your screen into four squares - and all four squares can have a different website on them. You can make the squares bigger or full size. And if you are surfing through a link page, all you have to do is drag the link to another square, and it opens up the link in the other window - leaving the link page you were viewing still opened in the first square. You can even have Excel spreadsheets, or word processing in one window - and a website in another window. This is a great surfing tool!

Fun Internet Thing Number Three:
Also, if you are into pretty things - check out Hotbar.com. This will create pretty pictures on your Internet Explorer tool bar. You can collect all the other pretty hot bars other people have made, and you can make your own. The only bad part is that it adds one more bar to your tool bar, making your screen a tad smaller.

Fun Internet Thing Number Four:
But I also found out that Microsoft now has Toolbar Skins for Internet Explorer. It is on the Web Accessories page at Microsoft Updates. It comes with about 10 skins you can use, as well as the wallpaper in your windows files. I am trying to find out how to make my own skins, and when I do, I will let you know. Looks like right now the Microsoft Toolbar Skins are still in a test phase.

If all that sounds like I have been a computer nerd lately - well, then I guess so ! I just got to get out, and take Diamond to the park, before winter hits. And yes, we do have winter in California !

Until next month,

Donna
