1 and 1/2 pounds swordfish steaks, 1 inch thick
4 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablspoons oil
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup chopped green onions
Place swordfish in a glass dish
Combine the soy sauce, oil, lemon juice, ketchup, garlic and pepper
Pour over the fish
Let stand 30 minutes
Remove fish and place in the broiler pan
Reserve the marinade for basting
Place broiling rack so swordfish is about 5 inches from heating source
Baste fish with the marinade
Broil 5 minutes on each side. When fish flakes, its done
Serve sprinkled with green onions
