1 medium tomato, chopped
Ground cumin
12 ounces ground turkey
Fresh cilantro
Vegetable oil
2 whole wheat pitas, cut in half
Romaine lettuce leaves
Plain low fat yogurt
In a bowl, combine tomato, 1/4 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
In a bowl, combine turkey, 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro, 1/4 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon salt,
and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Shape the turkey mixture into 12 meatballs
Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a large non-stick skillet overmedium-hgih heat
Add the meatballs and saute 15 minutes or until done
Divide the meatballs amoung the pita halves.
Top with lettuce, tomato mixture, and 1 Tablespoon of yogurt.
