4 rib steask, 3/4 inch thick
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp butter
1/4 up sliced green onions
1/4 cup beef broth
1/4 cup red wine
dash salt, dash pepper
2 Tbsp butter
Rub steaks on both side with cornstarch. Sprinle with garlic
Heat the butter in a skillet. Brownsteaks quickly on both sided
Reduce heat. Saute steaks. 4 minutes on each side for rare. 9 minutes on each side for well done
Remove steaks, keep warm
Add green onion slices to pan. Saute until soft
Add beef broth and wine. Bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste
Add butter, alittle at a time, whisking until sauce is smooth.
Add 1 teaspoon cornstarch miced with alittle water. Continue whisking till smooth
Pour sauce over steaks.
