Potato Gratin
4 servings
4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
3 medium onions, peeled, sliced
2 Tbsp butter
4 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp salt
Dash black pepper
Dash nutmeg
1 tsp dried thyme leaves
3 Tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 cup whipping cream
paprika
Saute onions in butter until soft
In a shallow baking dish, arrange layers of sliced potatoes and onions. Sprinkle with
garlic and seasonings in between layers
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes
Add whipping cream over the top. Sprinkle with paprika
Increase oven temp to 400
Bake for 10 minutes or until potatoes are soft, and the gratin on top is slightly brown
