1 and 1/2 lbs small new potatoes
Water
1/4 lb sliced smoked ham
3 Tbsp butter
White pepper
3 Tbsp chopped chives
3 Tbsp chopped parsley
2 Tbsp chopped sage
1 tsp sage leaves
Scrub potatoes. With a potato peeler, cut a small strip around the center of each potato so that
the white of the potatoes shows in the middle
Heat water to a boil. Add potatoes. Water should completely cover the potatoes
Add the ham. Cook for about 25 minutes until potatoes are done
Drain. Toss the potatoes with butter and white pepper
Sprinkle with chopped chives, parsley and sage
Garnish with sage leaves
