Banana Oatmeal Muffins
12 muffins
1/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp allspice
2 medium bananas, chopped
Cream together butter and brown sugar
Mix in egg and buttermilk
Mix together oats, flour, baking powder, salt and allspice.
Add to creamed mixture
Stir in bananas
Spoon into greased muffin pan, filling each muffin until almost full
Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until golden.
