You Touched Me

They told me it would never work
But somehow I feel it just has
Because you touched me
you kissed me
And somehow I feel they were wrong

Oh, I don't care if your much older
Even though their hearts grow colder
You need someone to lean on
I'm really not that bad to be seen with

My friends told me I was wasting time
But everytime I look at you
I dream that you are mine
Now I can tell them they were wrong

They told me it would never work
But somehow I feel it just has
Because you touched me, you kissed me
And somehow I know they are wrong
