To Late

All the corners in this house are dirty
You want to leave for work early
You're running from our talk
There's garbage to empty, the dishes are dirty,
and unwashed laundry
And a dog that needs a walk

And you toss and you turn every night in your sleep
The slightest noise keeps you awake
To tired to argue, to tired to communicate
To tired and its way to late

Why did you wake up so early
Whats the reason you're in a hurry
Can't you stop to let me talk
Lets make it right, I don't want to fight
Before we turn out the lights
And you're all ready to take a walk

And you toss and you turn every night in your sleep
The slightest noise keeps you awake
To tired to argue, to tired to communicate
To tired and its way to late

Why are you always in a hurry
Don't you care you have me worried
All I can do is watch the clock
You don't act your age, is this just a phase,
you know I'm trying to change
But you won't sit down to talk

And you toss and you turn every night in your sleep
The slightest noise keeps you awake
To tired to argue, to tired to communicate
To tired and its way to late
