Waterfall

This was made into a song, but it did not make it on to MY CD

How can I impress you ?
I keep giving of myself
If its not what I suggest to you
Its got to be something else

And I keep holding on
Even though you treat me so wrong
My tears, they just fall
From my heart, like a waterfall

Why do you captivate me ?
I don't act like myself
Its not the way I usually behave
Trying to be someone else

I plunge into your rejection
Deeper that I ever did before
Like I'm dehydrated and after water
I keep coming back for more
The hurt goes on and one
Like a Waterfall

How can I connect with you ?
I want to be under your skin
Its a tug of war, a tug of hearts
But I'm convinced you'll give in
So I keep diving in ....

And I keep holding on
Even though you treat me so wrong
My tears, they just fall
From my heart, like a waterfall
