We try to grasp the divine
but all the while we are running out of time
Children around us are crying
and our neighbors are slowly dying

Look at the world we live in
Look at the lives we lead
Time to solve out problems
Time to grasp reality

We try to reach the sky
but yet we are loosing our minds
Children without enough to eat
Friends gunned down in the street
