Continuous Past

Shapeless daydreams that never came to be
Atypical ideas I had
Benign only because I made them that way
through critizism
I made my daydreams and ideas shy of life
The Continuous Past has no mercy on the memories

Coalitions formed without care
with those who thought they were above
all else
They were dallies
My Continuous Past is baren

And I am the Reason
I thought I was unconquerable
I was a fool
Sophmore, I
A wise old fool in my Continuous Past
And the Past will not subside
