Charles

Charles, so sophisticated
always wondering why
The world was passing you by
Charles, the nights been long
everything has gone wrong
But you love me anyway

Me, I'm not sophisticated
always wondering why
You always passed me by
Me, I guess I was way to young
How could I have thought I had won
But I just found out I did

We are so very happy now
Life goes on together
and no one chose whether
they wanted to leave

It was always there
the love we share

Charles, this dream isn't true
I may have loved you
But you never cared about me.
Charles, this may be wrong
to sing you this song
But you had to find out sometime
That I wished you were mine
