I have seen soooooo many movies .... theres so many goood films out there right now !

Of course, like everyone and their brother I was in line opening weekend for "The Matrix Reloaded". Anything with Keanu Reeves - he is my absolute favorite ! I saw it at the gorgeous Mann Chinese Theatre. I also loved "Bruce Almighty" with Jim Carrey . And "The In Laws" with Michael Douglas . Another great movie I recommend is "Bend It Like Beckham" .

I finally got to see "This is Spinal Tap". They showed it at the Egyptian Theater and I made a point to volunteer that day so I could see it. I saw it for the first time ever a few weeks after seeing "A Mighty Wind" . Both those movies are hysteric comic masterpieces !

I am also trying to catch up on my reading. I just finished Michael J. Fox's autobiography "Lucky Man" , which is a very informative and inspiring biography. I am currently reading "The Summons" by John Grisham. The local Borders Bookstore was having a big sale, so I just had to go shopping. It was buy three paperbacks and get one free. "Shoot Out" by Peter Guber and Peter Bart just came out in paperback, so I got that. I also got "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kid, "The Nanny Diaries" by Emma McLauhlin and "Bel Canto" by Ann Patchett.

I have been working on updating my website pages. The Cool Movies pages are totally redone. I joined a bunch of movie webrings. If you get a chance, surf around. Now I am working on adding an entire section of my Poetry. I have written poetry/lyrics ever since I was 10 years old (yikes ! thats a long time). And I am working on putting them up on my website. They aren't finshed yet so I don't want to provide a link right now. I hope to have them done in time for the next newsletter update.
