Hey! We made through Y2K without a scratch! My apologies for not having a January newsletter up. It was too crazy in between the Holidays, year end at work, and the whole Y2K thingy. In anticipation of the big Y2K, we had so much to do at the office. Things were just crazy. But life is slowly returning to normal.
By the time you read this, the final mastering on my CD should be done. There are so many other things to do before I can get the CD out. I have applied for my Trademark, and for my DBA. The CD will be released under my own record label "Sundrop Records". Now I have to get some other business licenses, my Bar Code, Pictures and the CD cover graphics - all before I can even think of starting the duplicating process! There sure is alot of work (and money) involved in this.
In the meantime, I am staying busy. I have been taking singing leasons. And some small business classes at the local college. All in preparation for when I finally get this CD out for sale on the Internet and in records stores that sell on consignment.
There haven't been too many changes made to the site lately. But I do plan to be making some more this month. Adding some more of my celebrity pages. Its hard to believe over 800 people alone have visited my David Cassidy page. The tv special that aired must have really gotten people interested.
In California we are entering our rainy season. Which is good, we were so worried about a drought. But unfortunately, that limits my time with Diamond at the local park.
I have been keeping with my New Years Resolution, and have headed back to the gym. And to get off the computer, and get out into society more! Ha! Ha!
Please drop me a line and let me know whats on your mind. I love to hear from other up-and-coming musical artists. And I would love to hear what you think about my website. Give me your URL so I can visit your site! Its so much fun to visit the sites of the people who have visited mine!
Until next month,
Donna
